Job Overview:

As a PHP Engineer at Ishoo, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our web applications. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality, scalable and secure PHP-based solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

Main responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and specifications.
• Develop, test and maintain PHP applications to ensure optimal performance, security and scalability.
• Quickly troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in PHP development.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of web applications.
• Implement responsive web design and ensure a seamless user experience across all devices.
• Work on the design, optimization and integration of databases.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a PHP developer, with a strong web application portfolio.
• Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and related technologies.
• Knowledge of PHP frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Symfony) is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Fluency in the French language is required.
